Giving New Life to a Long-Neglected Home
This project at Roseberry Gardens involved the full renovation and extension of a property that had remained largely untouched for many years. The homeowners wanted to completely modernise the house, improve the layout, and create a bright, open and practical family home with significantly more usable space. The works included a rear extension, loft conversion and full internal refurbishment, transforming every aspect of the property from structure through to finish.
The challenge
The biggest challenge was the condition and age of the existing property. As the house had not been updated for a long period of time, it required a complete overhaul, including structural improvements, full replacement of services and a reconfiguration of the internal layout. In addition to this, the project required careful planning to achieve the desired sense of openness, height and flow across both the existing building and new extension required detailed coordination throughout the build.
Our Approach
We delivered the project as a fully managed, start-to-finish build, beginning with the major structural works including the new roof, loft conversion and single-storey rear extension. Once the structural shell was complete, we installed all new plumbing and electrics throughout the property to bring it fully up to modern standards.
The internal works then progressed through full plastering, joinery and decorating, ensuring a consistent high-quality finish across every room. Careful attention was given to the specification details, including new kitchen and bathroom installations, along with premium internal finishes such as matt black detailing and bespoke woodwork.
To enhance the connection between the home and garden, we installed large sliding doors and expansive roof lanterns, flooding the rear of the property with natural light. This was complemented by a newly constructed decking area, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living spaces.
The Result
The attention to detail, communication and quality of workmanship were outstanding throughout the entire project.
The finished property is a completely redefined family home, offering a modern layout, significantly improved space and an abundance of natural light throughout. The combination of extension, loft conversion and full refurbishment has completely changed how the home is used and experienced on a daily basis.
